Laboratory Investigation of the Water Damage Resistance of Tuff Asphalt Mixture Modified with Additives

To improve the water damage resistance performance of a tuff asphalt mixture, mixture with cement and liquid anti-stripping agent was used as research object, limestone mixtures without additives were selected contrast samples. Through an improved boiling test stability before after aging, modification effect different types contents on evaluated to obtain appropriate type content additives. On this basis, other road measures further by immersion rutting beam bending tests verify additive mixture. Results showed that adding provided excellent effect. An optimal 2% in obtained, its high-temperature anti-rutting low-temperature also verified. Adhesion between aggregates polymer under conditions significantly close aggregates. The aging better than agent. residual freeze–thaw splitting strength ratio increased about 21.5% 16.7%, respectively, compared those control.
